In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of increasing women's participation in politics, both at national and international levels. In Brussels, Belgium, efforts are being made to enhance the representation of women in political decision-making processes. Leveraging innovative approaches such as Artificial intelligence and games can play a significant role in advancing this agenda. The city of Brussels, as the capital of Belgium and a key hub of European politics, holds a crucial position in shaping policies and governance at the regional and global levels. Despite progress made in recent decades, gender disparities persist in political representation. Women continue to be underrepresented in elected positions, policymaking roles, and leadership positions in both government and political institutions. To address this imbalance, various initiatives have been implemented in Brussels to promote the participation of women in politics. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools are being utilized to analyze and address gender biases in political systems, such as developing algorithms to identify and rectify discriminatory patterns in candidate selection processes. By harnessing the power of AI, policymakers and activists can better understand the barriers that hinder women's political engagement and devise targeted solutions to overcome them. Moreover, gamification strategies are being employed to increase awareness and interest in politics among women in Brussels. Serious games, simulations, and role-playing activities are being used to educate, empower, and mobilize women to actively participate in political debates, campaigns, and decision-making processes. By making the political landscape more interactive and engaging, these initiatives aim to break down stereotypes, build confidence, and inspire women to take on leadership roles in the public sphere. Through a combination of AI technologies and game-based interventions, Brussels is witnessing a transformation in the way women engage with politics and strive for representation in decision-making bodies. By fostering a more inclusive and diverse political environment, the city is moving closer towards achieving gender equality and equity in governance. As we look towards the future, it is crucial to sustain and expand these innovative approaches to support women in politics, not just in Brussels but across the globe. By continuing to leverage the power of artificial intelligence and games, we can create a more gender-equal and democratic society where women's voices are heard, valued, and represented in all facets of political life.
